Adoption

Sometimes family of blood and choice converge.  One can be better than another, but certainly not always.

Bloodlines are important to some.  There are those who take great pains concerning progeny.

Now, there is nothing wrong with family pride.  I am proud of mine.  The study of genes, dna etc, are interesting.  And the social and spiritual aspects are significant.  We are curious how we are put together.

We must examine ourselves, flaws and all.  What makes us human.  And what doesn't  The current political climate has plenty of examples.

Standing for Liberty or tyranny couldn't be clearer.  Don't fall for the hype.  We have many areas still untouched and countless proponents for Freedom.  Beware trickery.  Look out for fraud.

I believe the President is aware and many with him are dealing with the negatives.  There has never been a more vociferous, antiAmerican attitude in our history.  The answer is all of us.

There are many here since before the country was born.  Like Mom used to say, some of our family met others when they arrived.

There are many who have recently joined us.

What do we have in common?  Opportunity.  What we make it.

We are brought in together.  One family.

Arguments?  Sure.  What family doesn't argue.  But to destroy, well that's more Cain and Abel territory.

To build, strive, work.

E Pluribus Unum.

Sic

The following is opinion.

I'm not a doctor.  Haven't played one yet, though I portrayed an animal husbandry expert -s-.

This is an impression of something about a year ago.

Opinions?  Well actually it's what docs call their diagnoses.

Associates of Mrs Sigurd returned from overseas, one from Ireland and one from China.  The former was fine.  The latter displayed no symptoms.  But several people did.

Mrs Sigurd had a terrible bout of what we thought was bronchitis.  She was homebound for 3 1/2 weeks.

Though she was in her room across the hall, I came down with it too.

Extreme fatigue, sore throat like glass shards, loss of appetite, loss of taste/smell, congestion/inability to get deep breaths, and a headache like a constant stabbing.  It was hell.

I've had pneumonia/bronchitis/flu several times.  Seasonal and taken care of with various meds including a certain z med.  Nothing was ever like this.

We went to the doctor's office.  They seemed puzzled but said there was a slight spike in early Fall cases.

I was given a breath test and received a huffer like asthma patients get.  Also doxycycline.  Mrs S got something similar.

Altogether, we endured about a month of recovery.

Our daughter visited and got ill.  She immediately went to the doc, got a huffer and fairly quickly recovered.

For us, everything receded slowly, but it left.

My sense of taste/smell was the last and it frizzed for a while.  Mrs S was more damaged as she had preexisting conditions.

My system was sturdy and built back up.

Just an observation.

We are stronger now.

A sick or fear ridden society is more easily controlled.

We are experiencing lies mixed with truth.

Watch yourselves and make sure you don't surrender to fear.

Blues Brews

Well it would be great to kick back with some beer and listen to some blues.  Maybe later.  Right now we have some thinking to do.

One of the things that should come out of all the baloney is a good self examination.  Time to reflect to see where we're at.  Have we taken things for granted?  Is apathy a factor?  And do we delegate responsibility when we need to stand up ourselves?  These are all being exploited by the collectivists.  All of us should, like Crockett said, ''Be sure you're right then go ahead''.  And those in public eye/service are no exception.

Specifically, police are under attack and scrutiny.  We'll deal with politicians etal another time.

Police work has been oversimplified and stereotyped.  Often portrayed as shining heroes or corrupt villains, real people can get lost in the shuffle.

Mind you, there are many heroes.  They risk so that others are helped.

And police work is detailed yet routine.  It's dangerous and sometimes boring.  And isn't over w/o paper work.  It's a club sort of.  It is also paramilitary, with a different approach except in the direst of circumstances.

Often there are split second decisions.  Some involve physical events including shootings.  Each incident can be different.  But one thing should be clear.  It is a matter of self defense.

Officers often do protect.  Obligation may vary.  They listen and arbitrate aka peace keeping.

The work can jade and embitter.  They need a strong support base.  It's a curious balance.

They see the down side of life and are called to the midst of evil.  They are between the dark and light.

If cops break the law they must be treated like anyone else.

When they do their jobs, they must be thanked and when heroic, honored.

The Bolsheviks are attempting to do away with cops.  Then they would replace with soviet or Maoist secret police.

An Oath to uphold and defend the Constitution is sacred.

Now I tell you I've known many police.  Even a few top cops.  I almost became one and have counseled.  My son may enter a department.

So each cop must have faith in themselves AND all of us supporting them.

As I said to an officer the other day, 'we are all in this together' after he said we must watch each other's backs.

Do you serve the people or the state?

Lather Rinse Repeat

Double clean.  Sometimes things are that dirty.  And the situation begs it.

Our enemies, those of Liberty, are busy.  The pressure increases between the streets and congress.  All to take the President down.  Then us.

The President is wise in a restrained use of power.  Yes, restrained.  As always, the demos/collectivists are warmongers.  They seek, in provoking violence, to tumble us into a forced communist society.

The President knows this and is allowing them to show their perfidy.  We've been given a sample of what living under communism is like.  I pray for decent people who have received the brunt of it.

The only way the collectivists could win is to cheat.  And of course they accuse us of what they are guilty.  Everything else has failed.

This has been done before.  The Bolsheviks did the same crimes in 1918.  However, this is different.

Unlike the royal government, we are a Constitutional Republic.  It's a stumbling block to these mokes' tyranny.  They think they have us now though.  Multiple attempts at derailing the President, at the expense of the people, have failed.  But the collectivists have 'faith' in the one/two of disease and unrest to finally topple us.  They, as always, underestimate us.

They have been studied.  We are going after leaders.  And not all of America is topsy turvy.  Wisdom reigns how Feds are called in.  I will speak of cops later.

We are not waltzing while the country burns.

We are Americans.

We will lather rinse repeat the filth out.

Maybe more of a power flush/uninstall.
