Turn Down

 Not the volume.  We need to proclaim Truth/Freedom louder than ever.

A guy called a girl for a date.

She turned him down saying she was busy.

OK.  It happens.

Now the girl was quite the social butterfly with sycophants fluttering round.    She was replete with a sidekick who did her social bidding.

The guy mentally shook his head.

After this he ignored them and never spoke to them again.

That next day they were aghast at his attitude.

They expected some kind of fawning/begging.  Egos had to be fed lol.

No skin off the nose.  He mentally wished them well and simply went on living his life.

On his part, it was not pettiness nor petulance.  

It was a matter of not playing games.

There can be some examination, getting to know someone.

But not dominance.
