Rockin Eve

 I miss  Dick Clark.

DJ, American Bandstand host, show biz producer kept him busy.  Even a stroke late in life didn't stop him.

His New Years Rockin Eve was a must for me.  Best way to ring in the new year with the ball drop and good wishes.  It was respite and renewal, come what may.

He's been gone a while.  It's just not the same for me.  But life and new years go on.

As long as Earth has circled the Sun, the years have rolled by.  Before and long from now, people will celebrate with hope and assurance that we will prevail.

Through good times and bad, our simple moments of humanity fuel us for the journey ahead.

I head into some uncertainty as to a home and business.  I take this chance to catch a breath and jump into the future.

I will not stop helping Restore the Republic.

Our Founders experienced some rough new years and many lost all save Freedom!

I hope you celebrate and keep your own memories.

Happy New Year!

Wishful

Thinking?  It has 2 branches.  Flights of fancy or hopeful future.  Obsession could be the border.

What ifs must be limited and one is cognizant that's what they are.  Otherwise one can get lost and solutions with them.  Best to examine challenges and figure out paths to success/victory.

It's tough.  Nobody said it's easy.  If they do, avoid them.  OTOH mountains can be made from molehills.  Find a balance.  See what fits and what doesn't.

Don't rely on those who either fantacize or extrapolate. Hopium is made of this.

Nothing is done overnight.  Bit by bit is best.

Model?

The Founders debated and did as I mentioned.

Those Restoring the Republic do likewise.

Fulfilment is coming.

Don't let the enemy deceive.  They are disgusting.  Expose them.

More than wishful.

It is truth.  Factful.

Sums

I don't make resolutions.  If I want to get fitter, I go about it.  I stop and start something when I determine it.  But the end of a year and a beginning do give way to thoughts of success and failure.  Things cross my mind big and small in my life.

Old commercial jingles from childhood, to encounters long gone are frequent companions.  Stuff inconsequential except for me just rise from seemingly primordial memories.  They bring tears or laughter when associated with events tiny and huge.

Tonight it's the kids.

Wife's pregnancies, those months caring and reading Shakespeare at night, to feeling the movement of life come to mind.  The danger due to previous miscarriages, to realizing life was changing and was more populous are remembered.

Diapers and tears to laughter and songs and all in between followed.  Yep music was important.  The kids got a taste of lots from Dr Demento to Classical.

When it came to TV/movies, we sat and explained together.  Having an acting background helped that.

Life?  Questions asked and answered.  Sometimes on the mark, others food for thought.

Realism was prevalent, yet there was plenty of artistic imagination.

We worked together and well.

As for me, my parentung is a hallmark of my life.  It is mt greatest achievement to be a father ot the kids.

There's more but this sums it up.

The future is theirs.

They will pass it on.

Honesty

 The best policy.

Does this make my posterior look big?

Tact vs candid lol.

As for current events, truth laid out is best.  It may be rough but waking up is essential.

Tact is NOT cowardice.  One needs instinct and experience to know when and how much to apply.  Witness those Restoring the Republic and how they have a symphony of truth.  They withdraw, proceed and play the enemy's strings.

Be honest with yourselves.  It is the basis.  And truth is its root.

Know the facts in truth.  Don't live in delusion and no flights of fancy.  That's collectivism's downfall.

What's the system/means.

I leave you with this:

“I keep six honest serving-men

   (They taught me all I knew);

Their names are What and Why and When

And How and Where and Who.”

-Rudyard Kipling, The Elephant’s Child
