Jewels

 Not the family jewels.

Shining moments.

In my previously mentioned non dusty musty way, I'll use a graphic yet accurate analogy.

There have been loads of discussions about show biz having turned woke aka culturally Marxist.  Dull, boring pap, reminiscent of soviet style propaganda.  Agree with it or be banished.

I don't watch TV nor go to movies almost at all.  Funny 'tude for a writer and inactive actor (soon we'll see).  It depends.

As said, I will get a TV season on disc then watch as much at a time as I like and commercials gladly excluded.  Or a movie, to see what's what.

Some things are drivel.  Many are mixed and often an effort to watch.

Get ready for the gross analogy.

Imagine a bowl of poop.  Not too vividly I hope lol.  Mixed in are some jewels, things that stand out as good/notable.

One picks with a very long handled spoon and extracts the jewels from the mess.  We wash off and disinfect those stones.

We examine the jewels, note them and well, do what you want with them in analogy

Once picked out, I rarely go back.  The effort is tiring.

OTOH, there are shows that are outstanding or nearly so.  Is timeless classic too cliche?

A timeless jewel the US.  Yes, a lotta poop on the way -s-.  And now, well we see the waste and perfidy.

We shake it off and disinfect.

I believe Patrick Henry would agree.

Birth.

After prep, a beginning.

Birth comes to mind having witnessed the birth of my last two kids and arriving after the birth of the first.  Continuation.

Parenting might be a different thing from bearing kids.

I was giving lectures/discussions about Shakespeare at a local high school while I appeared in a pro production locally.  My son was a baby and I brought him along in his stroller.

The teachers and kids doted on him.  And one boy admitted to fathering a child.

I immediately said it was a great responsibility and was he prepared to help raise the baby.  His silence spoke volumes.

Many are given up for adoption.  They are brought in, made part of a family, with all the rights and importantly the love and support of that family.

We will discuss another time how some babies are born and treated as objects.  We'll talk about exploitation soon.  And rescue as well as prosecuting perpetrators.

Figuratively we can prep something then put it into action.  Movies have development, preproduction, production and postproduction.  It's all analogous to desire, gestation and birth then raising kids.  The same can be true for other plans, such as a country to spring forth.

This is abundantly clear with the US.  It was conceived, declared and acted upon many levels.  And there has been much adopted into the US family.

Remember, many of us were born and raised here.  Others came from near and far to be adopted with citizenship in all its totality.

ALL of us are children of Freedom.

It is priceless birth.

Cats

Nope, not the musical.  Real kitties.  Felis catus.

I won't go into the science/physiology etc.  As usual, you might look it up yourself.  It's certainly interesting.

It's just that I've always been a 'dog person'.  There have always been dogs around and they have been canine friends and family.

I've known several people with cats and often, though generally allergic, I've acclimated to some.

We have taken to feeding neighborhood or feral cats.  We have a porch shelter for winter too.

Although they run when we go out, I talk to them and rattle the food bag.  They sit and listen and are happy to eat!

The kitties keep rodents away and, call me crazy, they sense negative things, so they keep that at bay as well.

One cat was apparently dumped or lost.  We managed to socialize and she now has a forever home.

Wonder why this post is here?

Well, I often don't do musty dusty.  I surprise and hope I don't bore lol.

And caring for animals is human.  With a lack of humanity running loose, it is a duty of Free people to spread all that is Light.

I feed the birds and squirrels too -s-.

And strays, are we not to save them?

Notice the rescue of kids on the rise.

Be flexible, step lightly and rid the world of vermin.

Sparky

Not the electric chair.  Not Reddi Kilowatt.  Just a figure of speech.

Not even the famous 'brushfires of Freedom' quote from Sam Adams, though it is related.

My point is related to inspiration and mostly a practical application.

Say there is a prof one knows.  Someone else is interested in teaching and has qualifications.  One introduces these two.  This is essentially the same for any job or even hobby.  Sparking interest.

Common goals.  Like minds meeting.  Match making?  Sort of without the romance lol.

Starting something, then handing it over.  Forgotten?  Maybe.  Relay race.

Fostering?  Yes.

As for me, this kind of work has its own satisfaction.  The credit should be the end result.

There is an instinct for such connections.  Most are successful and only a few don't click.

This ability has always been.

But I have a hunch it's moreso these days.

Kinetic energy sparks.
