I think it was a response to organized religion, a getting back to basics.
As for worship, some favor more liturgical and some go for a loose organization.
I'd say it's like shoe/clothing size. The old cliche if it fits wear it rings true.
It comes down to what's inside. Knowing re the war between light and dark, good and evil.
Personally, I'm pretty earthy. No sitting on a cloud with a harp. I'm where the rubber hits the road. Not shock value, just eye to eye. Make sure honesty takes you through the trip.
Backsliding is the 'sinning again' falling off the wagon.
Terms. Just don't get caught up in them. Utilize them and do.
Each day there are the ups and downs. We see how good and evil wend their ways through life.
