Sight.

I forget which life of Christ it was, but it depicted Jesus healing a blind man.

The performances were good and the actor playing the blind man did a great job.

Jesus engaged him in conversation and seemed to ask if he wanted something better than begging.  The man said yes if he could see.  Jesus spit in some dirt, made a paste and dabbed this man's eyes.  He then told him to go wash it off in a pool of water.

The man did so and could see.  At first it was dim and men looked like trees. Jesus touched him again and the man saw clearly.

The actor portrayed the blind man as scared and he struggled.  The mud seemed to burn him.  But he indeed could see.

Maybe he had second thoughts.  Perhaps it indeed hurt.  It took a second touch to see clearly.

We struggle to see.  Sometimes it's more comfortable to not see, to stay the same.

We are challenged, however, to see with all that is going around.

Don't be afraid/  Speak up and out.

The more the merrier.
