Where

I'm reminded when Sam's Club East arbitrarily closed a couple of years ago.  One day our daughter and I did some regular shopping.  The next day it was closed.  Just like that.  Employees showed up and were turned away.  They did receive severance and a chance for jobs elsewhere.  Hmmf.

Mrs and I went Friday, as they opened the store to liquidate merchandise.  It was already emptying fast.  Holes were appearing all over the food section especially.  The lines were long and the employees were stressed.  I looked around and contemplated what a catastrophe would do.

Well, we have found out in a mild way.  We see the result of what I'd call limited panic concerning health and goods.

My advice, albeit late, is NOT to panic, and learn to prepare.

Toilet paper.  There.  I said it.  Much has been bought in panic.  Much grabbed in greed.  Many were prepared.

There are places with varying degrees of severity.  Here fairly good.  LA not so good.  And there are many in between.  NB that the worst places are very blue.  We are fortunate here in that many of us resist a total takeover.

Make the most of where you are and where you're at.

This is textured.  On one level, it was meant to discumboobulate society here and everywhere.  It was meant to put the President on the spot, no matter the disease.  Think of an airplane downed just to get one person.  Socio/economic chaos is food for collectivism.  On the spiritual, it is a fallen path meant to pave the way for something that remains unnamed.  You all can figure that out methinks.

Be careful.  Stay well.  Protect yourself and others.  More later.
