4 Is Enough

I wanted to tell everyone I'm cutting down here on posts.

My other pursuits are taking precedence and I refuse to scramble and ramble, so 4 is enough here in a month.

Elsewhere, I will be doing things that may not seem to be in line with the statement of intent here. Not true.

Everything leads back to Freedom. There are many roads as there are people.

As to whether what remains here is good stuff, I leave that to the discerning taste of the reader. Same with any of my writing/acting etc efforts.

If you think I will get fleas lying down with dogs, think again. I get regular dips and I have my ways lol.

I'm gonna be in Hollywood a lot, so don't think it's all bad. My principles remain the same.

Time will tell how we all make our fortunes be it monetary or restoring the republic.

See, I didn't forget about that and never will.

I may write more here, but it's doubtful. Priorities will bring results.

IOW, far as What McAuliffe Said goes, I aint goin nowhere. They can't get rid of me that easily lol.

Do It Yourself

Or get out. Gov steals initiative.

Like headlines, I could leave it at that. I thought about the shortest blog entry but what fun would that be?

We have been riddled with statutes limiting our abilities to make our own way. from outlawing the making of hard spirits to building on one's own land, it's a blizzard of Freedom sucking initiative choking attempts to take rights away from people and give gov the 'power' to 'regulate' our lives.

The whole purpose of a limited gov Republic is to show that real power is in the hands of the people. WE can make what we want, as long as we are not hurting others. That's one of the noses in the tent.

Booze hurts people. Sure. But making it should be at least a hobby for those old boys who still practice a timeless art. Oh but without regulation, hooch can literally cause health problems. Those same old boys have been making it for probably eons. It was Prohibition that brought badly distilled product. criminals making a quick buck brought that little blot.

Caveat emptor should be the guide. In a Republic, if someone makes a health jeopardizing product, they are put out of business. When it's so ma and pa, word of mouth tells you who's good and who's not. And no, I don't know anyone who makes moonshine unfortunately lol. It's smooth -s-.

'Oh but some people have been killed, kids hurt, etc. Yes. See the above. And nobody is more upset about 'the children' than me.

It's always the Freedom sucking collectivists or any other name you want to give them, who take a right and make it either a privilege or gov activity only.

Paranoia and the quest to make us 'safe' fuels these b******s fires. Lemonade stand? Forget it or at least get a permit, the foresaid begging gov permission to do something which is a right. Those evil kid terrorists might poison the neighborhood. BS!

Teaching responsibility is the reason. Responsibility comes from individuality. Otherwise gov robs people of not just money, tis the season, but the right to learn from their own triumphs and mistakes.

May seem trivial re booze property improvements or lemonade. It's jsut the surface of the iceberg sinking the USS Republic.

I suggest we bit by bit take it all back Repeal!

Also, if I knew a distiller know by gov thugs as bootleggers, i sure as hell wouldn't tell!

In other words, rebellion begins at home -s-.

Misfits

I remember that animated Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer show. Rudolph was ridiculed and outcast for being different from the crowd. Red nose shmed nose. It's the 'difference' that counts. The group eschewed him because he didn't fit their standards.

So Rudolph wandered until he came to the Land of Misfit Toys. They had defects and no one wanted to play with them so they formed their own community. They eventually get delivered by Santa etc.

I don't want to get into any symbolism except being an outcast. Many of us feel like strangers in a strange land. We see the Republic eroded and liberal mindset demonizing what has been the norm.

The whole idea is NOT to buy the goods being foisted. We already have our own community. It is these united States.

We don't need a Santa to deliver anything. We can do that ourselves.

The misfits are those who think we need their guidance, that we are not capable of selfgovernment.

I refuse to feel ashamed of myself. That's the inner ploy that we should realize we need 'help'. Bull hockey!

The only help needed is for us to make this warped misfit country what it once was.

We were indeed misfits in the beginning. We would not fit the mold of subjects. Neither will we now.

Faults, flaws, and mistakes? We and our history are full of them. And in spite of that, we happy few human beings dare to be individuals united.

Be ready to show who the real misfits are.

Scratch

Making things from scratch is not a dying art. It's been on the decline for sure, but it's never disappeared.

Guess you could nitpick how 'scratch' something is. A few claim unless you grow the crops or hunt/fish yourself or at least share, it's not homemade. Not me.

Though one might want to acquire new skills aka more tools for the toolbox, assembling the ingredients and not using a mix is enough.

OTOH, using mixes and preprocessed goods can be a test for ingenuity. See what you can come up with and make it edible.

I'm touching mostly on cooking here, reminded how my daughter and I made a holiday dinner together. Yep it was one of those bonding moments which for us are pretty common.

Learning skills beyond the kitchen is a worthy pursuit. The old Foxfire books first come to mind but there are a lot of resources available. Becoming increasingly self sufficient in any way possible is recommended no matter where you may live.

If you live in a city, you might make plans for leaving.

That could be a work of ingenuity in itself.

No lessons here. Just awareness. See what's/who's around and willingness to impart wisdom.

Scratching out a living may have a whole new connotation one of these days.

Resolutions 2012

I love the dictionary. If you look up resolution, it has several entries besides the obvious meaning for today.

The most notable to me is resolving. Analyzing a complex notion into simpler pieces, dissonance to consonance, chemical compound broken into constituents, and the defs go on. Suffice it to say breaking down and resolving is what I'm pointing at.

I suggest there are no new resolutions on that score when it comes to the Republic. The personal lives of individuals have never been at a more crucial juxtaposition with tyrannt than now.

It's New Year's Day so I'm not gonna give you a diatribe. If you wandered here, just think about where we are and where we can be. We are re-solving -s-.

As for me, no socalled resolutions here. I'm just going to continue working hard personally, professionally and for the Republic, whatever I can.

I try not to make promises I can't keep -s-.

Hope

Hope
Real hope is not a panacea.

We have great hope for the new year, the future.

There is hope for the Republic as we watch what gov does and we hold them accountable. Bit by bit and sleeping less than an enemy that never sleeps.

I believe there is hope in spirit.

I'm sharing this and you may make of it what you will.

Ben Breedlove is in the Light.

Blessings.

Walking Dead WWYD?

No disrespect to Jesus, but most likely in a zombie apocalypse, it is you who would have to react.

Remember there is that Preparedness 101: Zombie Apocalypse blog post from the CDC to raise awareness for disaster preparedness. Mind you, CDC is not progun and the whole thing is just a mind jogger at best. Guess it's the closest thing to legitimacy lol.

So, stick yourself in the scenario especially with the popularity of The Walking Dead TV series. This show is one of the most graphic, intense on television. It's on AMC so they get away with stuff never to come near network. See it for yourself and/or read up on it. I'm just here to ask what would you do?

In a given situation, one must act. There is hardly time to mull things over. Imagine a world turned upside down. Socalled civilization is over. No transportation, deliveries, comm systems are either limited or gone. Most people are either dead or flesh eating zombies. It's everywhere.

Would you sit and wait at the onset, for help. Do you hear helicopters, loudspeakers telling you to go somewhere? Would you? Would you hole up, waiting for it to get better? I hope not.

You shouldn't wait for anyone. Have a prearranged place to meet. Get the hell out of the city fast. If it's a no warning scenario with no buildup or breakdown, then be ready to drop everything and go.

In the middle of anything, shift to your own emergency mode.

Plan ahead. Work out scenarios. While you have time. I hope we have time -s-.

There is already plenty of info available about such things already. I was reminded of thinking on one's feet watching the first seven eps of Walking Dead, season 2.

People learning to work as a team. It's not communism, it's common sense -s-.

So take this end of the year musing for what it's worth. And remembering it's fiction so far -s-, have fun watching the Walking Dead. Kinda like a roving Jericho with zombies instead of tyranny.

One thing that might well ring true in the real world. When you throw people together, you gotta deal with basic humanity. All kinds of feeling and thoughts would parade around.

Better be ready for that.

It's not flesh eating. but it doesn't need to be mind boggling either.
